we shouldn't concern ourselves too much
with matters that are beyond
the scope of our assigned social roles
it is an easy way to descend into madness
trying to encompass the whole of society
with a single human mind
for instance the college I went to
had circa a hundred graduations
each requiring full time work
in order to be adequately mastered
this would require centuries
for a single person to master
unless they were ridiculously genial
even then specialists
the phds teaching stuff
would have had more time
to dedicate to their specific disciplines
and therefore would be superior
even to this massive genius
good at everything
again the most he could accomplish
no matter how genial he is
is to be second best at everything
for since he is spreading himself so thin
he couldn't possibly be as good
as someone really smart
focusing entirely on one thing
it is how society progress
the specialization of work
ever since I left that college
they already invented
several new courses
and will invent even more in due time
