even without being able
to learn anything directly from them
by observing carefully
the society they have built
I learned much about
the inner working of their minds
they consider labor to be
for lesser beings
intellectual work
to be the pinnacle of
what the lower classes can attain
and the true vocation of man
to be a manager of resources
and enjoyer of higher pleasures
this is a nice view of life
but you can't make it universal
for the masses of laborers
need to believe themselves
to be better off than their masters
and the intellectuals
need to feel better than everyone
and wronged when not given
full control of society
like their massive brains
and massive egos
make them feel like they deserve
the true aristocrat
deals in labor but don't do labor
deals in intellectual matters
but doesn't wear himself too much with them
leaves the nitty gritty to his underlings
and goes on to acquire and to enjoy more and more
this is the authentic experience of man
