my true vocation is to play the long game
but so far I have been sabotaged
no one wants new players
everyone likes the game the way it is predictable
a new player changes the balance
and you never know what will happen
redoing plans that were
set in stone for decades or centuries
because of one random
who wants to build a Family
patriarchs have a difficult life
much sacrifice is required
the start of anything is difficult
securing resources
finding a suitable mate
raising offspring properly
it is an endless task
there are no guarantees of success
except the promises of God
which for us are more than enough
are you willing to trust God blindly
to follow Him in the dark
if not then turn back now
for we are all Blind here
we navigate the unknown
trusting the only worthy guide
that ever showed up in this place
everyone else has delivered us into doom
our God has ensured that we remain
our enemies die and we live on
the promise is it will always be like this
we may end up somewhat battered now and then but
it is part of the process
