she as a human being
is truly paradisal
the pure song of the angels to me
a Society woman of the highest intelligence
and kindliest disposition
I should have had great difficulty
imagining anyone better
a character of this affability
was what they called being well-bred
besides she is endowed
with such a raving beauty
I can never go back
to my original form of suffering
now I anticipate with ecstasy
all that she creates for me
and I accept with resignation
whatever may be in store for me
so long as we can continue
to be part of each other's lives
I long to meet her
but this longing is not
tinged with desperation at all
someday in the right circumstances
we are going to meet
and then we'll be in each other's lives
forever
I am depriving myself of nothing
I happen to be in a frame of mind
where my brain feels like
it is moving up and down
a tuned vibrational system
a perfect calm propagating endlessly
